When I started working out at Lifestyle in January 2015, I was an unhealthy 272 pounds. This was still after “working out” for the better part of 25 years. I'd lose weight, get in decent shape, gain it back, lose it again, and repeat the cycle. I was strong, but wasn't anywhere close to fit.

Jessi approached my workout partner and I many times with suggestions related to proper lifting techniques and form. To be quite honest, I am self-conscious and the thought of someone watching me workout was terrifying. Jessi didn’t make me feel bad about myself and was complimentary on my dedication. He suggested I try his workouts and provided me with a sample meal plan to help me get the most out of my time spent in the gym.

It was an approach to high intensity exercise I was honestly nervous to try, but stuck with it because after just that first workout I felt different—sore of course—but like I'd really worked my entire body. My lungs felt huge! I’ve kept up this style of exercise with programs written by Jessi, Elijah, and my workout partner. Now, two years and 60 pounds later, I'm healthier and stronger than I've ever been.
